Brinkley

This is Brinkley, our golden retriever.  He's seven years old and a great dog.  We wish we could keep him, but he's just too big for home now that we're expecting a baby.  If you would like more info, please email me at: esleraggie06@gmail.com.

Herring Hotel Building

I recently had the opportunity to take a tour of the Herring Hotel building in downtown Amarillo.  It was an incredible building, so I thought I'd share some of my pictures.  Only a few, though, because uploading pictures on this thing is difficult for some reason.

This one was taken in the basement.  There was no power, so the only light in this shot was the flash on my camera.  Not bad, huh!

This picture was taken from the roof of the Hotel.  As a side note, Royal Glass did all of the glass on this building.

This is a switch panel in the elevator penthouse.  I'm pretty sure that this is the panel that tells the elevator when to stop and when to open/close the doors.  That's Dad on the left.

Loretto Chapel, Santa Fe

I've always wanted to see this, and last weekend I finally got to.

Optima Camel View Apartments

This is a cool apartment complex in Phoenix.  I saw it while driving past and made a u-turn so I could get out and take a look.

As a side note, I'm pretty fed up with blogger.  I've tried to make three posts in the last week and have been frustrated with their formatting options.  You notice that all of this text is a link... that's because it wouldn't take the link off when I told it to.

Don't be surprised if I don't post again.  Pointers welcome.

It's Only Salt and Corn

I don't have a ton of time to make a post, but here are a few pictures from our recent trip to Wolf Creek.  We had an amazing time and, as you can see, an up-front view of nature.  Yeah, yeah--I know you're not supposed to feed the deer.  But look how cool they were!  There were AT LEAST 3 deer at our cabin any time we were there, and at one point we counted 13.  Beautiful.
We also saw a fox.  Sweet!
